School Council / Cyngor Ysgol
At Ysgol Dyffryn Iâl, the School Council is a group of pupils that have been selected by their peers to voice their thoughts on important school matters. They discuss a range of issues, equipment for playing and recreation, teaching and learning methods, school planning, evaluation processes, exciting events, and even staff interviews. Typically, the School Council holds discussions before bringing up these matters with the Headteacher and/or school governors. Their invaluable role ensures that the pupils' opinions are heard and valued.
